God loves us all, one by one
In spite of our sins and the wrong we've done.
He allows us a new opportunity every day
To return to the straight and narrow pathway.
He warns us time and time again
That for our sinful ways, eternal damnation, we will gain;
But, we ignore His signs and His call to repent.
We just can't seem to catch the hint
That what is done in darkness will come to light
And revealed to be viewed in man's eyesight.
The adultery, fornication, cheating, and lies
Can, in no way, be hid under God's starry skies;
For, He sees and knows all things that have been, are now, and are to come.
So, you must realize there's no place to hide, no place to run
From your sinful acts and un-Godly deeds
And you'll soon find out where sin truly leads:
To destruction, embarrassment, and even the gates of hell;
Some have even had to spend time in a jail cell.
Heed the warnings and turn from your wicked ways
To add spiritual freedom to and subtract bondage from you days.
God is calling you by your very name
To accept His offer to make a change.
Yes, God is calling you day-by-day,
And He doesn't desire to turn away
From you because He loves you so,
But there's something He expects you to know;
That there is no place for sin in the home He's prepared in the sky,
Which is why you need to clean up your act before you die.
Don't risk losing all that you have, maybe even your life
And risk experiencing unnecessary strife
By ignoring God's call to you
By continuously living the way you want to.
God is calling, but His call will soon end,
And you will forever be lost in your world of sin.
