Don’t be act as fool as you go on your way
Thinking you can make someone pay
For the wrong they’ve done to you
Or for the hell they’ve put you through
Because there is something you must understand
And that is revenge doesn’t lie in your hands;
For, when you take revenge on someone else,
You are building a debt for yourself
That you too will have to repay
When God allows it to return your way
Because God is the one in control
Of our lives, destiny and souls.
He warns us that we will reap just what we sow;
Therefore, it’s apparent that you must know
That when you try to repay someone
For the mischief or wrong they’ve done,
You are planting a bad seed,
And you will eventually pay for your dirty deed.
So, don’t play the game of payback
Because you are showing that you lack
Faith that God will make your enemies leave you alone
And remember the wrong they’ve done
When He strikes them with revenge of His own
To make them realize and acknowledge that they’ve gone
Too far in their efforts to cause you pain and strife
As they set traps in your life;
For, your enemies will learn to respect the power of God
When He decides to strike them with His chastising rod.
So, don’t try to pay back, whatever you do
Because your efforts will surely return to you.
