It is another Easter season: Good Friday, Holy Saturday Easter Sunday and Monday.

A time of sober reflections, this one is like no other; especially during this period of a mysterious global plague that sees countries of the earth mandating their citizens to stay-at-home. Within months into the year 2020; Suffering, sickness and numerous deaths around the globe is staggering.

In world history, it isn't the first time that countless people would suffer grievous illness and perish from pestilence of this magnitude (The PLAGUE of 541 AD, the bubonic plague that swept through Europe in the Middle Ages in 1347, claimed a whopping 200 million lives in just four years, Cholera and Small pox-endemic to Europe, Spanish Flu, Ebola, SARS, MERS,HIV and most recent, ongoing COVID 19) Also there were  Biblical plagues and disasters that claimed mass lives: - Exodus 7:17-18; 8:1-15; 12:12, 29-30; Deuteronomy 28:27

Then, this is EASTER, the remembrance of the death and resurrection of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, his victory over death but, everyone is still at home, keeping away from friends, family and strangers alike. No Church worship, no weekly activities so that the curve can be flattened. Nevertheless, we remember that God sent His son otherwise we would all have been damned for eternity, it took the blood of His son to drip ceaselessly in that handwriting, It is finished. Praise the Lord!
