The way of the Cross is the way of Christ.

This faith walk is a process of letting go, bit by bit, entering into a union in Christ.

In Christ, we encounter supernatural love, light, hope, and redemption.

"Once I rode into the woods for my health, in 1737, having alighted from my horse in a retired place, as my manner commonly had been to walk for divine contemplation and prayer, I had a view that for me was extraordinary, of the glory of the Son of God. As near as I can judge, this continued about an hour, and kept me the greater part of the time in a flood of tears and weeping aloud.

I felt an ardency of the soul to be what I know not otherwise how to express, emptied and annihilated; to love Him with holy and pure love; to serve and follow Him; to be perfectly sanctified and made pure with a divine and heavenly purity." Jonathan Edwards

In the busyness of life, when circumstances overwhelm, when difficulties crash into our now, the Lord, who is our good Shepherd, beckons us; 'Come to me, all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you Rest" Mathew 11:28

Often, we do not cease our scheduled lives to come and sit in the shadow of our Lord's wing.

Jesus, who is our good Shepherd, when we abide in Him, we lack nothing, makes you and I lie down in green pastures and leads you and me beside the still waters where He refreshes our soul. Jesus is our guiding light as we step into the right path for His name's sake." Psalm 23:1-3

Jesus, who knows us inside and out, calls us to come to those meadows of rest, to be nourished from holy balm of presence.

Christ restores, renews, and refreshes our weary souls. Jesus is aware of each thought we have, sees into the depths of our hearts, and is the One who knows what is ultimately best for us, is calling, is beckoning, is drawing us to come near to Him.

Why?

He knows our tendency to become busy, to become scheduled, and our inclinations to rise to look at our own 'to-do list.'

He knows our reluctance to take time to be alone in Him due to the pace of our lives.

Jesus desires communion, relationship, and fellowship, with us in each minute of each day.

There are seasons He will bring things into our lives to make us stop, to make us cease, and to cause us to turn our full attention and affections to Him. Such an opportunity to draw near to His heart is here today.

When difficulties make you question, come, and pour your heart and tears to Him, Jesus, who is your good Shepherd.

When crisis enters your home, come, kneel before the throne of grace where Jesus is waiting and receive from Him, all you need.

This faith is a lifestyle that requires deferring to His preferences, in good times and in bad times.

This faith walk is Jesus thinking, leading and speaking life. Jesus, who modeled the perfect life for you and for me, grants grace, sufficient for any life challenge, any circumstance, any situation.

The grace of Christ grants his supernatural ability to proclaim, Not my will, but Yours Oh God, do I most desire.

Letting go of my not knowing. Letting go of my not understanding. Letting go of my knowledge. Letting go of my prayers. Letting go of my independence. Letting go of my self-indulgence. Letting go of my resistance. Letting go of what I want to be the result.

Drawing near to His bosom, beholding his glory again and again and again.

Jesus, as the breath of life and divine presence, is my sacred dwelling place of absolute abandoned surrender in all seasons.

The way of the Cross is where we are led; yielding all to Christ.

Come to him today and set awhile in his love. Come to Jesus today and find rest from the storms. Come to the Lord who is our good Shepherd and know rest in the trials. Come to Jesus now and rest in the not knowing.

Come and rest in his solace and comfort. Come to Jesus today, who satisfies our every longing and our every wanting.

The fragrance of Jesus Christ abounds in us as constant flowing rivers of life ----- all the time.

Rest in me, rest in me, rest in me today.  I am your father. You are my precious child. Be still before me. Wait on me a while. And come to me and find rest in me. I hold you safely in the hollow of my hand.

I have numbered all the hairs upon your head. I have held all your tears and captured all your thoughts. I have sent my most beloved son to love you and to be with you each second of each hour of each day.

I am rest. I am comfort. I am solace. I am life in your breath and I created you for life.
