Over 2000 years ago
The perfect Lamb was slain
One sacrifice for all mankind
Each one known by name

Lost in my own misery
Saved but yet still bound
I fought the dark, I beat the air
Until in complete surrender I found

You drank my cup
You bore my load
And now I need to let it go

I choose to take Your yoke, dear Lord
Thank You for bearing mine
I am free, beloved, forgiven
And I have been all the time

Forgive the pride and the deception
That led me to believe
I should continue to struggle
With that for which You died to set me free

There is nothing I can add
To what You have done for me
My debt is paid, my burden gone
I’m finally, truly
Free

Oh what a Sacrifice the Son of God made for us All. How true we are Free in Him and free to be all that He calls us to be by the Power of the Holy Spirit Oh What Amazing Grace. Beautiful poem .Thanks.In Christ,Dee:)

Debbie this is so true, we struggle with many things that God does not intend for us to struggle with. When we come to him we are forgiven, and not by works of our own, or works in the future but by his amazing forgiving grace. Even in our weakest moments his forgiving spirit is not diminished in us for that is when his love for us does abound. We do need to only let it go. I loved this peace.
