I thank the Lord as I wake up
Today’s a brand new day
I take the world for what it’s worth
and this is what I say
I’d be so lost without you Lord
You know the reasons why
You picked me up from way down low
and lifted me up high
I’ve stumbled through this wicked world
and tripped along the way
But with Your strength I carried on
You listen when I pray
I put my faith in You, Oh Lord
And all I hope to know
Will live my life in all Your ways
And with You I will grow
