To Live A Life Always Pleasing You.

As the days go by

And time flees away

Help us O Lord

To number our days

 

The morning may have past,

The noon just slipped through,

For the coming evening and night,

Lord help us to be faithful to You

Now we know O Lord that in You alone,

We’ll always have a Friend ‘so faithful and true’,

Help us to rebuild our lives O Lord

To live a life always pleasing You.

‘The Sovereign King’, You’ll always be,

And Your Kingdom O Lord shall never come to an end,

As all hearts prepare in perfect ‘Obedience and trust’

Patiently waiting with You the eternity to spend

‘God is good’, we’ve tasted and known

In this mortal life, we’ve always cherished His grace,

O what a joy that now through all eternity,

We’ll enjoy His presence, beholding His beautiful face.
