When the psalmist exclaims, "Bless the Lord, o my soul, and forgot not all His benefits, " in the 103rd Psalm he implies not only that there are many many benefits to be remembered but also that there is a tendency on our part to forget them or take them for granted. It's as though the Spirit was saying, "Come on now, don't forget ALL of these benefits, at least remember SOME of them, even one or two of them. Even remembering one or two blessings would do wonders to help your morale. And remembering many more than that would do much more to help and to encourage you, O my soul!
