No Boundaries on God’s Love

As I sit in the cool of the evening,
As the sun sets in the west,
I contemplate the vastness of Your creation,
The incredible, seeming
Infiniteness of it,
Infinite only because of my finite mind.
The stars, the moon, the sun,
All the heavenly entities,
All in exactly in the right places,
Delicately, yet powerfully balanced,
No haphazard design,
Purposely planned and crafter by You,
The Creator, the creative God.
No eye can see, no mind can fully comprehend
The complexity of your creation,
Created for man,
Your greatest work!
All was created for him to enjoy,
Steward and use.
What love You have that You
Would do that for man.
Yet, as extraordinary as that is,
Creation displayed no boundaries on Your love,
For You love the world—its people—so much
That You entered Your creation as a man,
Subjecting Yourself to its limits,
Becoming “God with us,”
Emmanuel,
The Gift of Your Son
Who became our Savior.
That one act far overshadows
The work of Your hands,
Giving us what we really needed.
What an awesome God You are,
Most holy Lord!
Blessed be Your name forever and ever!
