 The song writer of the Hymn ... "It is well with my soul", found himslf in ovewhelming situations and he knew there was no help from nowhere except from above!

There will always be situations where YOU feel so burdened that you wonder if God truly exists and if yes, is He aware of your situation at all?
You even wonder if, He is indeed ALMIGHTY!
Fret not and do not be dismayed, He knows and so long as He allows what is happening, then do be rest assured that it is for a GOOD purpose!
You may not see that goodness at the moment; you may have neither support nor help from anyone ('friends' and 'family' have deserted you and even turned to become accusers-of-your-brethren) not to worry, you have the capability to bear it! Look inwards!

When HE sees that you can no longer BEAR it on your own, then He sends you divine support IMMEDIATELY! That`s the way He works.

Dear friend, do not `despise the TIMES of humble beginnings`, neither frown at the times of chastenings and (Re)SHAPING.

It is all to lead you to an expected GOOD end on the STRAIGHT AND NARROW
