“Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” Mark 16:16 NIV
How can the Lord make it any clearer than what He utters in this verse? To receive salvation, one must believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Beyond that, the actions which we do must reflect that which we believe. We are not saved by our actions, our deeds, but by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ, who He is and that which He has done on our behalf. The Father had a perfect plan for our salvation. We can choose to either believe in it and be saved, or we can ignore or reject it and face condemnation. No one can make that choice for you. You must choose for yourself. There is no fence straddling. If you do not believe, then you do not believe. This is the most critical decision each of us will make in our life. Choose to accept the Lord and you shall be saved.
