There is nothing natural in humans to follow the way of Jesus. As our fleshly 'self' would just as soon engage in 'road rage', live a 'life of ease, comfort and luxury', telling people to 'get lost' and figure out how to live this faith life alone..

Yet the call upon those of us who have chosen Christianity as a lifestyle means taking this radical story of Jesus as our story. It means taking the 'risk-filled path' of Jesus as our path and walking the narrow road of redemption where we are taught in Matthew 16:25: "For if you choose self-sacrifice and lose your lives for my glory, you will continually discover true life."

God has made provision for us in our dry, barren seasons and in the desert of our suffering and in the warring between what we want to do in our flesh to bring us to places of spiritual renewal.

In these places we discover the richness of Christ as an oasis in our soul.

Christ desires to lead us into discovering springs of living waters in Him ---- whose life and love quenches our thirsting and whose life ----- fulfills our every need and whose life ---- we join as willing participators in accomplishing His holy intentions and purposes for us ---- in and by His Spirit-ability.

The places we are spiritually nurtured, nourished and fully supplied with the life of Christ is known in God's love.

This God lavishes His love as a holy offering to everyone and God's love is not based on anything we do or don't do ---- His love is freely gifted to anyone - no exceptions!

God's love sees underneath our behaviors where He comes to us in our need. Our greatest need is to know Christ and in knowing Christ we know our Father and in knowing our Father we taste and experience the most authentic, real, unbridled, unchanging, redeeming, reconciling and restorative Love.

God's love ushers us into new found freedom from 'performance-driven' activity, 'guilt-ridden' mindsets and we discover our true identity is in Christ and in Him alone.

In Christ we feel, sense and become totally and sufficiently completed.

Christ's-life becomes our sole source of sufficiency in all we could possibly need, want or desire.

When our fulfillment, satisfaction and joy are discovered in Christ --- all else dims in the light of His glory and Grace!
