THE RED PHASE – ORIENTATION

● Who am I?  [special creation of God and descendant of Adam with body, soul – mind, will, emotions & spirit] Gen 1:26, 2:7, 1 Cor 15:45-49, 3 Jn 2, Rom 8:16

● Why am I here on earth? [to love and glorify God, enthrone Jesus and help to carry out His mission through the power and leading of His Holy Spirit] Mk 12:29-31, Jn 17:20-23

● Where am I going? [present life – wherever God leads, through prayer, Bible study, Godly counsel and His Holy Spirit; future life – to a place of great joy with Jesus, lasting peace and pleasures / for the believer] Jer 29:11, Ps 16:11, Lk 23:43, Jn 1:12

THE YELLOW PHASE – RATIONAL THINKING / ANGER

● Who is my real enemy? [the self-centered world, the un-crucified flesh, and the devil with his forces] 1 Jn 2:15-17, Gal 2:20, 5:16-17, 6:14; Eph 6:12, 1 Jn 5:19, 1 Pet 5:8

● How can I handle anger? [Don’t harbor offense - go to God – He will exact justice and help to forgive. If needed, get Godly counsel for reconciliation. Bless and don’t curse. Return good for evil.] Gen 4:6, Matt 5:21-22, Rom 12:14-21, Eph 4:26-27

● How powerful are my thoughts? [They shape your soul and body, give rise to action for good or evil] Prov 23:7, 4:23

● How can I control my thoughts and win the battle for my mind and life? [Recognize where they come from, fight with Scriptural authority, tear down strongholds, take thoughts captive and replace lies with truth.] Acts 5:3, Luke 4:4-12, 2 Cor 10:4-5, Joshua 1:8-9, Ps 119:11, Philip 4:8, 2 Cor 3:16-17

THE BLUE PHASE – LIFESTYLE / TRIGGERS

● What should I do about triggers that lead back to bondage? [Recognize the craftiness of your enemy, the devil, and give no ground. Submit to God and confess sin. Present your entire body to God for His use, clothed in His spiritual armor] 2 Cor 2:11, 1 Jn 1:9, Eph 4:27-30, James 4:7, Rom 12:1-2, Eph 6:10-18

THE GREEN PHASE – RE-ENTRY / LIVING WITH OTHERS

● How should I now live? [You are no longer under the devil’s control, but now a new creation under new management, bought with the blood of Christ. Go to Jesus, the Head of all true believers, and discover where you best fit. Work as needed and grow by studying and obeying the Word. Develop your spiritual gifts and find real joy in serving Him.] 1 Cor 7:23, 2 Cor 5:17, Eph 4:28-32, Col 1:13-18, 1 Cor 12:1-14, 2 Tim 2:15
