Leave memories behind
Wherever you go, whenever you can
Wherever you pass, whenever you pause
Wherever you stay, whenever you rush
Make a special moment to last forever.

Leave memories behind
Whenever you travel down the road of life
Wherever the road abides with you
Leave such a strong impression
That the road will await your return once more.

Leave memories behind
For the sunlight at dawn to hold in its rays
For the sunset at eve to flag in its coloured ways
For the moonlight’s promise to keep the memory pristine shine.

Leave memories behind
Which has a touch of us
Even when we are not around
Which makes up for our absence
Until we put in our appearance.

Leave memories behind
Memories worth talking and thinking about
Beautiful to be a moving narrative
So that a befitting Memoir can be written.

Leave memories behind
It will help the ones that come after us
To try and fit into our shoes of emotions
So they too can house memories to pass down the line.

Leave memories behind
For memory is the invisible link
That can zoom up to Heaven from Earth
And zoom back to Earth from Heaven
When we remember the ones gone ahead.

Leave memories behind
Whether your listening presence on the school bench
Your delightful laughter on the play swing
Or the high friendship conversations.

Leave memories behind
Only Love can add that glowing feel
To any given memory that we hold
Memories left by us are not far behind
But right in front of our thoughts and hearts.

Leave memories behind
For it will be like leaving ourselves
In the physical form of the mind
Where the picture in front of our eyes
Is loud, clear and fresh all the time.

Leave memories behind
And it will surely stand for years and years
Like the strong tree that never budged
But still so green and a beauty to the eye.

Leave memories behind
Make sure it has the seal of our kiss
And an unfading love marked on it
To keep the memory going on as in an eternal ring.
