Sometimes we may think we have a full understanding of some subject or event, when in reality we have only an outline or framework that feels or seems complete at the time but which is actually in need of detail. What we really have is a sketch which fellowship can make more complete, and that means fellowship with certain appointed others at key moments and fellowship with God. But we have to be humble enough to receive the treasure in that fellowship that can build on that which has only begun to develop and take shape within us. The piece we had was not the final word on the matter, it turns out, but only a temporary phase. All of this is meant to be part of an exciting process that keeps us learning all our lives!
