Have you started to feel it?
Do you know what is coming?
I have tasted the air this night
I have heard the jingle of magic

The brisk autumn air triggers
As the smells turn to carols
Fallen cones and limbs are collected
To greet you at the door

Mark this day, Mark that
Lest we forget this celebration
For a wonderful time comes
None too quickly it will come

Ice has begun to cover the water
Frost has started to fall nightly
My nostrils are licked with smoke
As clouds rise from red bricks

Markets filled with green and red
Starry clusters in the streets
Cheeks are rosy, and noses nippy
Humming radiating from churches

A blanket of snow covers us
Just as the color of our new garments
Washed by the blood of the baby lamb
Born to us on Christmas day
