Moses burning bush experience captivated him; he realized it defied all logic. Today scoffers try to explain away all miracles recorded in the Bible; including the burning bush. I once read that it was just a reflection; an optical illusion. We may not rationally understand how miracles occur.By faith, we trust our all powerful God; nothing is impossible with Him!"Is anything too difficult for the Lord (Genesis 18:14a NASB)."The bush burned; yet, it was not consumed. Imagine having a log burning in the fireplace that never stopped burning. It provided warmth during a blizzard; you could not explain it. Never the less, it happened. Our fire, a zeal for God should stay ablaze.Weary, we should experience burn out. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, We trust Him to keep the flames burning."And for this reason I remind you to kindle afresh the gift of God (2 Timothy 1:6a NASB)."I had a burning bush as my pastor; Rev. Charles Bush of Devine, Texas. His heart was aflame with a burning desire to preach God's word."But if I say, I will not remember Him or speak anymore in His name, then in my heart it becomes like a burning fire shut up in my bones; and I am weary of holding it in and I cannot endure it (Jeremiah 20:9 NASB)."Brother Bush has gone home to be with the Lord. His fire burned away underbrush in my heart. In the future, all sin will be consumed by God’s refining fire.
