Author requests article critique

Heaven itself could not contain Him

Yet He chose to dwell smack dab in the center

of our poor hearts.

Come to think of it, maybe that's part of the reason

Because Heaven could not contain Him

Christ overflowed into our hearts.

Certainly Heaven could not contain Him the first time

When He saw our desperate and lost condition and flew

Through the Cross to our rescue,

Calling out as He came,

" I love you, whole world!

I love you wildly and widely!"

Now He bids us join Him in that call,

Knowing this from the Master:

There cannot be one stitch

Of our own righteousness in the warp or

Woof of the white robe He offers us.
