The Blessed Holy Spirit

“And it happened, when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary that the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.” Luke 1:41 NKJV

Something supernatural going on here, history at that time was recording some of the best moments when the Creator Himself was on this earth in bodily form in Jesus Christ.

Being filled with the Holy Spirit, is this not what many earnestly desire and await for in their lives?

The Disciples eagerly awaited and prayed for this during the Pentecost and the Lord filled them with the Holy Spirit which transformed their lives and through them many other precious souls.

What the Holy Spirit does in us is:

“Then the Spirit of the Lord will come upon you, and you will prophesy with them and be turned into another man.  And let it be, when these signs come to you, that you do as the occasion demands; for God is with you.”

1 Samuel 10:6-7 NKJV

Do we not earnestly desire to be transformed, changed and be a new person?

Do we not desire that we may be able to make the right decisions on all occasions and which can only happen if God is with us?

If that be the case then we need to be filled in with the Holy Spirit.

In the above mentioned instance joy permeates every moment because the Holy Spirit is there.

Let’s pray that the Lord may fill us with His Holy Spirit and we may bear the fruits of the Spirit spreading God’s love and goodness wherever we go.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.”

Galatians 5:22-23 NKJV
