WHAT WE EXPERIENCE ONCE WE BECOME BORN AGAIN!
Because of the supernatural nature of the new birth, it's almost impossible to explain the INITIAL AND PRIMARY experiences to those without Christ. (there are additional experiences like the infilling or baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, and the accompanying manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and eventually, ministry gifts etc as the Holy Spirit wills) But, like every miracle from God, the Bible clearly explains it.

When we believe with all our heart the gospel that Jesus Christ took away our sins and transgressions and ALREADY GIVEN us His righteousness in DIVINE EXCHANGE as a free gift, undeserved and unmerited, and then confess with our mouths that He's our Lord and God raised Him from death according to Romans 10:9,10, God gets committed, and keeps His promise to give us a new heart, a new spirit and a heart of flesh. We become new creatures in Christ Jesus, saved, born again sons and daughters of God and members of His eternal family. Hallelujah!

Now, this miracle, also known as the gift of righteousness imparts in us three EXPERIENCES that produce the physical manifestations of the spiritual fruit of righteousness. These experiences are divine or supernatural (1) PEACE and JOY, (2) DESIRE for righteousness and (3) ABILITY to live righteously.

1) Supernatural PEACE and JOY overwhelm us as undeniable proofs that we have been reconciled with our Heavenly Father, our source of life. That all is now well and at peace again, just like the prodigal son returned and was reconciled with his father and family. At this point, most people actually FEEL a burden lifted off their shoulder or back, a release of freedom and then peace and joy unspeakable. Glory to God!

Romans 5:1,2.
Therefore, since we have been made RIGHT in God's sight by faith, we have PEACE with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. (by divine exchange). Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of UNDESERVED privilege where we NOW stand, and we CONFIDENTLY and JOYFULLY look forward to sharing God's glory.

2) Another experience is supernatural DESIRE, hunger, thirst or longing after righteousness or righteous living. It's also the frustration we feel and/or our dissatisfaction and hatred for unrighteousness and sin. This tendency is another undeniable proof that we're born again and are already recipients of GOD'S GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS THROUGH CHRIST JESUS. However, this is when the battle between our old, natural sinful desires and our newly acquired Christlike desires or the fruit of the Holy Spirit, begin as proof that we're now new creatures, alive in Christ Jesus and no longer spiritually dead. Please read Galatians 5:16-26.

3) And the third remarkable experience unique to those BORN AGAIN through Jesus Christ, is the divine or supernatural POWER, ABILITY OR CAPACITY to resist, stop and overcome the seductive power of sin and then TO LIVE RIGHTEOUSLY, HOLY, and to be consecrated or set apart to God and His ways and Word PROGRESSIVELY in we mature spiritually. We can overpower and overcome sinful habits, tendencies and attitudes AND LIVE IN RIGHTEOUSNESS IN THIS SINFUL AND PERVERTED WORLD in the name of Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit living in us. Hallelujah!

Romans 6:1-23.
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:

Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.

For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
