Even though you don't need to breathe as I need to breathe, I still want you to breathe my breath with me. That's how close I want to be to You from moment to moment, breath to breath. Even though your heart does not need to beat to live like mine does, I want my heart to beat with Yours. One might say that I don't want to miss a beat, not a beat of the rhythm of your song for my life. You have me on the edge of my seat, one might say, you have me on the seat's edge of a future and a hope that begins one second from now, and that makes it difficult to remain seated!
A time is coming which is beyond time in which the breathe we breathe will not be to keep us alive but will be a creative breath breathed with You speakinging some new age into being, bringing all our best dreams to reality and then some.

The last section I anticipated would poise on eternity as we never know when he will call for us off the edge of the seat of life, as you say, or what closeness we will have on an edge of his seat (our section of the throne we will share) forever, never to separate. Maybe adding a dimension such as this might make the last section a little more impactful.[sorta like in the song: Amazing grace...when we've been there 10,000 years bright shining as the sun, we won't ever have to separate from God's grace than today when we have first begun to breath his not breathing (believe).
