Meet me halfway
When I walk towards you 
And you come in my direction
It will speed up the path on which we walk.

Meet me halfway
When you tap your heart to declare your love
And I raise my hand towards my heart
It will be the sweetest responsorial sign.

Meet me halfway
When I look at the rain falling down behind you
And the facing rain is a part of our conversation
Look at the beautiful rain along with me.

Meet me halfway
When I observe nothing but only your gaze
And keep it within me for a lifetime Care
Your presence and mine at that moment makes the world.

Meet me halfway
When the road goes on and on
And I feel lonely all by myself
Meet me at some point for an in between company.

Meet me halfway
When I count the years and times
The months and days which came and came
Help me to recount and make the days happen again.

Meet me halfway
Whenever I honour a gemmed memory
And re-caress special moments once in time
Salute that remembering memory along with me.

Meet me halfway
When the love packed in the heart
Is beyond capacity and measure
Sustain the overflowing emotions 
In an equal distribution between our souls.

Meet me halfway
When we cant get enough of each other
And long to spend lengthy meetings in time
Meet me in the core of this longing.

Meet me halfway
When God gives an abundance
Of blessings, words and moments
Let us both thank him together for all of it.

Meet me halfway
When I begin to pray the chosen prayers
Pray along with me for the both of us
So that the Lord receives a complete prayer.
