How could I forget your word, your promise
That; You will never leave me nor forsake me
My confidence is shaken, my trust is weak
In the face of harsh realities
Oh for more grace to trust in you

When I face the red sea, goliath, Oh God my own shortcomings
Help me to align my faith to you and your word
Not experiences, not what I see, hear or understand

More of your grace, more of your strength is my prayer

God of miracles, let your power manifest
Overthrow and bring to nought words spoken that are not inspired by you

Let your word, your will, your truth, your counsel prevail against words sent to assail my soul

Forgive me Lord, I see my error
I have remembered what others said and forgot what you said

Speak your words over me again
Cause me to hear them
For my soul pants, my spirt yearns to hear them
Oh peace like a river flows when I bring to remembrance your living word
