No More Room, Even At the Door

A few days later, Jesus went back to Capernaum. And when the people heard He was home, they gathered in such large numbers that there was no more room, not even outside the door, as Jesus spoke the word to them. Mark 2:1-2 NIV

Jesus was back in Capernaum, most likely at the house of Simon and Andrew. So many people gathered outside that there was no room, not even at the door. Yet, Jesus went ahead and taught the people. This was His immediate mission. How many people were able to hear His message? We do not know the answer to this question, but it was evidently enough who could hear Him, as Jesus did teach them.

Do you give yourself enough time each day to hear the word of Jesus? Make sure to have time for reading God’s word and for time to pray, to be in the presence of the Lord. This is so very important in your daily life.
