The Captain of my Ship
Is not just another captain.
He is a special Captain
Trained beyond the skills of the sea.

The Captain of my Ship
Knows how to steer my life
He can swerve and manoeuvre
Through any storms and icebergs.

The Captain of my Ship
Will never let me fall over
He will haul me up
Using all his might and strength.

The Captain of my Ship
Knows the song in my heart
He will play it for me on the deck
Where I can see the stars along with Him.

The Captain of my Ship
Can dance my whole life along with me
The blue oceans all around as we turn
The best dance floor anyone could yearn.

The Captain of my Ship
Is my best companion for a stroll
Under the sunny yellow or white dome of the sky
Or the clear wavy  tapestry of the sea besides our feet.

The Captain of my Ship
Will take me to unexplored islands
Where the treasures of paradise
Can be found in the ivory grace sea shells.

The Captain of my Ship
Will never leave his hand
From the Wheel that directs my days
He has the course of my life planned in control.

The Captain of my Ship
Is the most powerful one on Earth
He can calm the sea when it rages high
With just a command that obeys him by.

The Captain of my Ship
Has a secret quality as well
He can walk on the waters with ease
As the wind and waves around him tease.

The Captain of my Ship
Can overpower the fiercest tempest
All I have to do is place my hand in his
And he will keep me firmly safe at his side.

The Captain of my Ship
Will never allow the waters of trials
To seep in and flood my life
He will cover any gaping pain to stop it soon.

The Captain of my Ship
Loves me over the horizons
That can be seen in the distance
He is my lighthouse of never dying faith.

The Captain of my Ship
Keeps his gaze fixed on me ever
Like a magnetic compass pointed towards my heart
The radar of his heart catches my own beat.

The Captain of my Ship
Embarks and disembarks together with me
He is my anchor wherever we dock
And the sails of high rise flying hope.

The Captain of my Ship
Has given a beautiful name to my life
Happiness is the proper title he chose
For the joy he gave me above the waves rose.

The Captain of my Ship
Has mapped every single time
Of my Cruise here on earth
This is the most adventurous voyage
That it will end on the shores of a Promised One.
