Blissfully Content Shall we Be For Sure Instead

If we make our cake with the flour

We may enjoy its flavor and the taste

Yet if its dirt that we may have used

All our endeavors will end in waste

The Light of the World, the Lord Jesus Christ

Is alive and ever loves us the best

Trusting in Him all through our life

We shall surely find perfect rest.

Any other choice than the King of Kings,

Will be a misfit all for sure,

He alone can cleanse us from all our sins,

And make us blameless and perfectly pure

Our how in vain we often wander after,

Fables and myths that have no breath,

None of these can ever save our souls

From the flames of hell and eternal death

Yet God has revealed Himself in Christ,

And what a blessed hope of grace divine,

Let our hearts pursue to do His will always,

As let’s be joined to Him, ‘The only True Vine’.

We are losing our health and losing our wealth,

Spending all we have for that which is not bread,

Let us seek Jesus Christ ‘the Bread of life’

And blissfully content shall we be for sure instead

Made in His image and for His glory,

In Him alone we’ll have perfect solace

This is our calling and our story

Saved by His love and abundant grace.
