I have noticed that there are an alarmingly, increasing number of single women in the Christian church. These women are getting older and are finding it harder and harder to meet God-fearing men that will treat them the way God intended. I want all the real Christian men to consider something. God commanded us to be fruitful and multiply. One of His reasons for creating marriage is so that we can reproduce and cultivate spiritually grounded families. Families around the world are suffering for a lack of responsible men. In turn, nations are suffering for a lack of orderly, God-ordained families. Men are the head of the house, so it is the responsibility of Christian men to turn these nations around, one family at a time. I personally do not believe that Christian men should wait so long to get married. There are negative ramifications for waiting so long to get married. Physically, a woman's prime child bearing age is approx. 20-27 years. After 27-30 years of age, it becomes increasingly difficult for a woman to bear healthy children and to return to her original health, after bearing the child. Beyond approx. 27 years old, the woman is at risk for more complications, and the child is at risk for being born under-weight, which could lead to health problems for the child. Now, spiritually, we know that God will open a woman's womb, even in her old age. We also know that a child can be born healthy, regardless of their mother's age. However, we cannot deny the fact that it is physically harder for women to bear children pass 27 years old. Christian men, please answer me. Why are their so many single Christian women that are beyond their child bearing prime? How are they to be fruitful in a body that will increasingly deteriorate as they age and make it more difficult for them to have children? Do you think it's God's will for so many Christian women to suffer from loneliness, unequally yoked relationships, desperation and barren wombs because so many Christian men are waiting longer to get married? Not to say that women are not responsible for their own actions but men ARE suppose to be our spiritual leaders. Though this might sound outlandish but, I dare to say, that the long waits among Christian men could be riding on the brink of sin. God did tell us to be fruitful and multiply, so obviously, marriage and children are His will. God gives us what we need to carry out His will. A women's 20-27 year old body is what God may have given men to use to bring healthy babies into the world since this is the best time for their wives to have children. Also, men's reproductive cells are at their prime during this age as well. The quality of the men's reproductive cells deteriorates after approx. 33 years of age. He also gave us a sex drive, for reproducing with our spouse, which is at it's prime during age of 20-30. When considering these elements, it seems that God intended our bodies to physically reproduce during our youthful child bearing and reproductive primes. Christian men should ask themselves why are they waiting so long to claim their wives. I am not talking about immature boys, but men, who have jobs, and are avid lovers of God. I know many men want to make sure that the woman is the one God has ordained as their wife. Christian men just need to make sure they are waiting to marry in obedience to God and not out of their own fears of commitment and responsibility, which is the sin of procrastination. Also, make sure you are not setting unrealistic goals for the woman God ordained for you. You may want to marry Halle Berry but God may want you to marry Queen Latifah! It IS possible for our desires to be different from God’s desires for us; even as Christians. We have to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and make sure we are agreeing with the word. Don’t discriminate against a woman because of her looks. A humble spirit is beautiful to God so don't put so much emphasis on outside appearance. It is in your nature to judge a woman by her outside appearance but remember that your nature is constantly at war with the Spirit. So, Christian men, prepare to be the heads of the households. Don't procrastinate. You are too essential to the development of nations, because of your position in families. The household is the basic unit of all nations. The household guides a nation to it's destiny. So, you responsible men of God, seek God's help and let Him teach you on leadership and husbandry sooner, so you can lead our nations to Christ. Have faith that God will not lead you astray. Ask that woman out! Be her friend. Show her what a Godly man is supposed to be. DO NOT let your nature/flesh overcome you. BE HONEST!!!! Treat her like God would treat her. Love her like Jesus does. Come on, men....WAKE UP AND TAKE UP YOUR RESPONSIBILTIES. If we are not to cause our brother to stumble, then why is it that our brothers are causing so many of us to stumble because they are waiting so long to marry? God will lead you to a good wife. Just trust Him, believe Him, and above ALL things, LOVE HIM by obeying His word.
