Count the stars along with me
Count them slowly one by one
Let us name and label each star
The Faith, Hope and Love Star.
Count the stars along with me
Let us take our own sweet time
Let us not skip even a single one
For each star is meant for a special wish.
Count the stars along with me
Numerous and scattered they all may be.
Could even Abraham count all of them
Though his descendants were promised to be
as endless as them?
Count the stars along with me
We will see the Yesterday Star having shone
The Today Star shining red and bright
The Tomorrow Star polishing it’s shine.
Count the stars along with me
They maybe fixed and held in place
But we can roll all our promises
To design these stars with a coronet of our own.
Count the stars along with me
A lifetime will not be long enough
But we have the whole of Eternity
To sit besides each other and count the stars at leisure.
Count the stars along with me
The night will take on a special feel
We too will find ourselves high above
In the most ecstatic feeling of all.
