I walk
in wooded paths, my
footprints
following me.
Straining with everything
within,
climbing the steep hill
that boarders flowing water,
cascading over moss
rocks along
tree roofs
and log jammed trails.
Air filled lungs
reel white light
from the sun
as it radiates through thin
spaces above.
I find,
sanctuary,
solitude,
quiet.
My Faith turns
in directions of my heart,
following restful thoughts.

I felt rested when I finished reading. Your poem is effective and leads the reader to a calm inner space with Jesus. This morning, I needed such a poem so it was God's help for me.
