1 Thess. 2:13 (NASB)
13 For this reason we also constantly thank God that when you received the word of God which you heard from us, You Accepted It Not As The Word Of Men, But For What It Really Is, The Word Of God, which also Performs Its Work In You Who Believe..
PRIORITIES: Does the Word have first place in your heart? Does it have full authority in your life? You are the only one who can decide whether or not it has a first place priority in your heart. Is the reason why another person is growing in Jesus and you are not, is that they believe and you don’t? Our attitude towards the Word, determines whether it will perform its work in us. It can but it doesn’t because we receive it as “The Mere Word Of Man.”
SANCTIFICATION or GROWTH in the Christian life is like our being saved. The Work of Christ is finished and available to all. But only those who actively receive by confession are saved. The Word cannot do its work without your cooperation. You need to exercise Faith-Works. 

PRAYER

Heavenly Father,

Your Word is quick and powerful sharper then any two edged sword. It is a fire, and a hammer, a discerner of the thought and intents of my heart. 1 thess 2:13 tells me I need to receive as words from you and allow your word to do its work in me. May it remove misconceptions, dismantle castles of imaginiation . I wish to cooperate with Your Holy Spirit,
I pray this in Jesus Name.
