Lord I am praying for a wife
She will be the most important element in my life
Lord, you know I have been single for a very long time
I will treat her right and
Together we can learn that even though
‘The sun will set as the night approaches but
Nothing will ever stop it from rising again’
Some say you should not speak to fast
But over years you have shown me how to make it last!

I want my own Eve
I do believe that she will arrive in your Name!
Thank you that our marriage will honour you
Because you will be in it!
In the past, you have prepared me
I have learnt from my former relationships
I saw my own mistakes and now I know that
You are the giver of a wife so I turn to you and ask

Lord I am praying for a wife
She will be the most important element in my life
Thank You Lord that you will Honour my prayer
Together we will carry your Name!
You have been with me all the way so
I ask for a wife in your Name—Jesus

I too have never married. I am content and feel the Lord is my husband. But can't deny that sometimes loneliness runs its course. But the Lord said, "We have not because we ask not." You do well to ask. I think singleness is harder for men. God bless you and I stand with you in your prayer if it has still yet to be granted.
