O LORD, YOU ARE THE LOVE OF MY LIFE

O LORD, You are the sweetest, kindest Person I know
So, all my sins, they have to go
For I don’t want to hurt the One who loves me
Who showers me with compassion, grace and mercy
Yes, LORD, you are gracious, sensitive and sweet
And how I look forward to that one day we meet
For You are the One whom I love the most
My Father, my Savior, my Holy Ghost
It baffles me how You’re three in One
But that don’t matter ‘cuz You’re still Number One
It seems that You bless me in all my ways
Yes, blessing me bountifully day unto day
Oh, how could Someone like You want someone like me
When at times my act gives You so much misery
But You are so forgiving which baffles me, too
That each time I stumble You pull me through
Oh, how can I tell You how much You mean to me
When my words are so feeble directed to Thee
I love You, LORD, with my heart, mind and soul
‘Cuz You’ve fixed me, LORD, and have made me whole
Love was once a word that meant nothing to me
Till You came into my life and worked on me
And now I can love others more than me
You’ve given me a heart now with empathy
Is there anything You won’t do that will glorify You
And be to my greatest good
Seems You’ve granted me all the desires of my heart
And thrown in much extra, too
All I ask of You, LORD, is that on Your part
You’ll plant in me the desires of Your heart
For I want to please You and be part of Your plan
To rescue the lives of lost, fallen man
So, use me, LORD, I surrender my all
I respond to Your voice, I heed Your call
For like I said You’re the sweetest I know
So, take me, I’m Yours—heart mind and soul
