ON THE COVER OF THE ROLLING STONES
I’m a pretty simple man, not given to making a show or putting on airs – I’ve never had a six figure income.
I’ve mainly done factory work, rubbing shoulders with hard-working people, being near the backbone of America.
But I know a guy who deserves to be on the cover of the Rolling Stones – the most unselfish One ever.
Jesus had it all, but He was troubled by the state of fallen humanity, so He came down for a rescue mission.
It was a thankless job, the ones Christ came to help hated His interference, and did all they could to make His life miserable.
The bigoted, self-righteous religious leaders didn’t want any meddling by a poor “nobody” from the wicked town of Nazareth.
Jesus was the most perfect human to ever live, but the Rabbi’s detested the compassionate Healer who mixed with sinners.
Christ took my sins and suffered my awful punishment on a Roman cross, the Holy One dying for the guilty.
Then, Jesus gives me His righteousness, sets me in heavenly places and makes me an heir of eternal life.
And THAT is why Jesus should be on the cover, not only of the Rolling Stones, but every major magazine in America!
Christ is the Hero; He should be admired, acclaimed, applauded, beloved, commended, exalted, idolized, reverenced and worshipped.
Jesus should also be celebrated, followed, glorified, honored and definitely, put on the cover of the Rolling Stones!
