Does The Bible Say Jesus Christ IS God ?!?

People often ask whether Jesus and/or the Bible ever said Jesus is God.

The Biblical answer is an emphatic YES !

Allow me to provide a few scripture references for you.

1. “Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are their ancestors, and Christ Himself was an Israelite as far as His human nature is concerned. And HE IS GOD, the One Who rules over everything and is worthy of Eternal Praise! Amen.”
•Romans 9:5 NLT

2. “The Father and I are One.”
Once again the people picked up stones to kill Him.
They replied, “We’re stoning You not for any good work, but for blasphemy! You, a mere Man, claim to be God.”
Once again they tried to arrest Him, but Jesus got away and left them.”
•John 10:30-31,33,39 NLT

3. “Though He was God, He did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, He gave up His divine privileges; He took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being.
When He appeared in human form, He humbled Himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross. Therefore, God elevated Him to the Place of Highest honor and gave Him the Name above all other names, that at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, in Heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the Glory of God the Father.”

They are reborn—not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God.

From His abundance we have all received one Gracious Blessing after another. For the law was given through Moses, but God’s Unfailing Love and Faithfulness came through Jesus Christ.”

5. “No one has ever seen God. The only Son is the One Who has shown us what God is like. He is Himself God and is very close to the Father.”
