Lord, I came to you with all my troubles
You promised you’d be there
There was no one else I could turn to
So I came to you in prayer

Only you with your awesome power
Can keep the devil away
There’s no way I could do it myself
All I could do was pray.

You showed me your awesome power
My world was coming apart
You lifted all my stressful troubles
You comforted my heart

You listened to every word I said
And heard my pleating cries
You touched me with your endless love
And dried my weeping eyes.

Thank you Lord for every blessing
Forgive my every sin
Thank you for listening to my prayer
My new life can now begin.
