Lord, I have been really been tested this year
Like I have never been tested before
Every time I asked you for help
You were there to open up the door.

Some days I face the impossible
The walls sometimes close me in
Whenever I began to lose my hope
I must call on my closest friend.

I have no friends greater than you
And your love for me is a blessing
You always come through for me
You would never leave me guessing.

No one said it would be easy
You’ve been there every step of the way
Thank you for being such a friend to me
Continue to bless me each day.

If I didn’t have you in my life
What kind of trouble would I be in
I truly value our relationship
Please never stop being my friend.
