Faith, Hope, and Love

(Lady) Faith

Faith is a courtesan in search of a favor.

She is hostile to the etiquette of the party elite,

                made impoverished by their misspent social fortunes.

She plies her trade cleanly among the unwashed servants

                in residence to guards without any protection;

                stooping to view what others reveal

                whither the forcing of themselves into evil crevices

expose the baring of their bent and wicked ways.

Faith has found her favor in notorious behavior,

                her virtue in degrading thought –

while she, still in a sanctuary of her own provision,

                remains a willing lier of the Truth,

                a prostitute of ancient virgin honor.

Hope (Reborn)         

Come outside the weather within you

     beyond the terror of the clouds

       and the fear of high thunder.

Come lonely of wealth and boastfulness

     beside the furor of your dreams

        and I will shape them hardly.

More is meant to be in the sequence of God’s un-being:

Your hope, My promise, our love bequeath all creation.

Spirit Love (Charity)

It is a man alone

                and a God beside itself

                                who is untouched by Spirit Love.

From whence cried Heaven in a trinity voice,

                at the point of its singularity,

existence forever caught in a divided dream.

                                … Still …

scattered faith yet hopeful … of merging divine –

                           on earth as it is in heaven

                where saved souls touch in Spirit Love.

Unfortunately, this will be my last regular article submission. Because of my health and because my house is in foreclosure, I will soon no longer have access to any help or a computer. Nevertheless, I wish for all of you what this last one says: Faith, Hope, and Love.
