But Do You Know Me?

Looking at the signs of the times makes me concerned for many people. Do you know beyond a shadow of doubt that if the end came that you would be going to Heaven? You can know for certain.

I met a man years ago that seemed so right on. He had a knowledge of scripture that put me to shame. I was so impressed when I talked with him until one day the Holy Spirit spoke to me. I was told that this man did not know Jesus. He knew the Word but not the one who wrote it. I told the man what I was told and he was surprised and said how did you know? I told him that the Holy Spirit revealed this to me. I asked him if he would like to meet Jesus and be born again. He consented and was saved that day.

The devil also has the Word memorized but do you think he is going to Heaven? I don't think so. The Bible says that except a man be born again that he will not enter the kingdom of Heaven. He can have a form of godliness but still deny the power. Just knowing the Word will not get you to Heaven. You must be born again. Many seem to know what Jesus said but do not know Jesus personally. What good is it to have such knowledge if you don't act upon it and do what God asks?  Being a Christian means that you have a personal intimate relationship with the one who wrote the Bible. Anything other than that is just religion. There is such a difference.

The Bible says that we are to be led by His Spirit. We are not to be led by our head. They that are in the flesh cannot please God. I gain nothing by writing these words. I don't try to get you into a specific church though you need to be in a good Bible based Spirit filled fellowship somewhere to learn and mature in Christ. I don't ask you for money. So what is in it for me? What is my motive? My motive is simple. I want to see everyone accept Jesus as their Savior and make it to Heaven. That is my reward. Jesus desires that all be saved though most likely all won't be as man makes their own choices. God gives them the choice but they must choose.

Jesus is asking, "Do you know Me"? You can meet him at any time or any place. All you have to do is pray a simple prayer. Ask him to forgive all of your sin. Tell Him that you believe that He is the Son of God. Ask him to come into your heart and save you as you desire to know Him and serve Him and be able to go to Heaven when the time comes. It is that simple. It is an eternal decision we all must make. Don't wait too long as no man knows how much more this world will stand before Jesus comes back for his church.
