To you I lift up my Soul
In this parched land 
To be the cistern from which
I draw the life giving waters
For which every cell in me thirsts.

To you I lift up my Heart
In this catching land
To fill and raise every beat
Into an uphill one way track
Into your very beat to draw life for me.

To you I lift up my Eyes
In this space filled land
To fill every sight with hope
That in you alone can I get
The best glance that your eyes can give.

To you I lift up my Mind
In this wandering land
To learn and reflect 
On your endless Words
The Word that can give eternal life.

To you I lift up my Understanding
In this lost at times land
To deduce the reasoning in time
For the selected colours chosen
To fit into every season meant for it.

To you I lift up my Will
In this tugging and gearing land 
To be my all being choice
Where your joy skates with mine
In the beautiful rink of life.

To you I lift up my Days
In this fast passing land
To have your presence 
Touch as many days 
When I take you into my heart.

To you I lift up my Time
In this high speed land
When I utter your Name
In silence or out loud
To involve you in my every second.

To you I lift up my Happiness
In this thirsty seeking land
For every joy comes from you
Given from your own gladness
To mix and form my own delight.

To you I lift up every Moment
In this rapid flying land
To take hold of these moments
And keep the flow ongoing
By turning it into a Treasury of love.
