Fighting Battles Wins The War

NB. In order for us to gain the Victory, we must first win (and thus fight) MANY battles!

Just what are these battles you ask ... here are some examples.

1. Dying to your self - what you want, what you think, how you feel, what your plans are for yourself, what you think should happen etc. We must instead crucify our flesh, take up our cross and follow Christ.

“Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?”

2. We must adamantly refuse to see ourselves outside of what the Bible says about us. "I was born this way" or "I am only human" are simply wimpy excuses. If you're a true Believer the Lord says in His Word, "We must be born again, not from any human passion or plan but from the Spirit of Truth." We are Who GOD says we are and we MUST be convinced of that Truth.

“Jesus answered, “It is written in your law that God said, ‘I have said you are gods!’ This Scripture [Psalm 82:6] called those people gods, the people who received God’s Message. And Scripture is always true. So why do you say that I speak against God because I said, ‘I am God’s Son’?
I AM the One God chose and sent into the world.”

3. We must each denounce, deny and unequivocally refuse the religion of man with it's false, Lifeless, Powerless teachings and embrace the Gospel of Christ and of His Kingdom. The Bible, from *Genesis chapter 1 all the way to Revelation chapter 22* MUST become our ONLY belief system and way of Life.

“So you are teaching that it is not important to do what God said. You think that it is more important to follow your own rules, which you teach people. And you do many things like that.” Jesus called the people to Him again. He said, “Every person should listen to Me and understand what I am saying.”

ONLY as we conquer the battles between our True born again, renewed selves and our sinful flesh will we be equipped for the VICTORY !
