How many times have you come across an opportunity to share the news of Christ, but hesitated due to feelings of “un-comfortableness”? I know, I used to feel this way until I changed how I thought about witnessing.

At first it was my thought, that I had to save them! I had to say the right scriptures without making mistakes. This was entirely too much pressure! So I tried to avoid it when I could.

What I lacked to realize, is that God is in control of His message; I just had to be obedient in going out and sharing what I knew for Truth!
I found out, when the opportunity came, I should focus on prayer and sincerity. God took care of the rest. I just had to be willing, able and available when God called me to share!

He calls us first to Him, then out to others. Make sure the first part of the relationship is strong and the second part will come naturally. Start relying on God’s wisdom and His strength, for it is by His Grace we were saved...the same is true for others.


I challenge you in the days to come, to take those opportunities God sets before your path. Pray for wisdom and guidance as you witness—the Lord will provide!

Remember, God is the one in control, no matter the situation! So you cannot mess it up if you let Him lead!


I pray that your spirit soars and your opportunities increase as you grow stronger and more confident in the Word.
