A high school student was finally able to find Christ. As she grows in knowledge about the Bible, she became conceited and feels great pity towards her theologian teacher. The teacher was a very nice lady who was sincerely wrong in her beliefs.

The student shared the truth to some of her classmates and teacher. However, everybody doesn’t seem to care. The only reaction she has received is arguments and ridicule. Her theologian teacher has no comments. It came to a point that the student decided that her time to share the truth has not yet come.

As graduation day draws near, she wanted to make he teacher think more deeply on why Jesus had to die on the cross. So the student asks the teacher this question.

“If we can save ourselves by doing good works, why did Jesus die on the cross?”

Truly the student was unprepared to hear the teacher’s response. The teacher said this.

“It is God’s mystery. No one can fathom God’s plan.”

At the back of the student’s head; she wanted to hit the teacher hard.

CONCLUSION:

The world knows a man called Jesus. The world does not know Jesus.
For the world, Jesus is God’s mystery no one can fathom. However, the genuine Christian knows that God’s mystery is revealed to his complete clear holy word the “Bible”.
Let us share the “GOOD NEWS” with love and humility. It is God who softens the hard hearts of man. However, do not be like the conceited student that was I.
