I need to re-write my worship again
I have been stuck in a pretending den.

One hands raised, the other a hidden fist,
Yes. Lots of "christians" might have this twist.

My wish is to be real, sent by Your love,
I know I need enlisting from above.

Lord Jesus, please help me re-request Your hand?
So when worshiping I can really stand.

Lord, my longing, is to re-write my life?
I know this cannot be done without strife.

I'm ready God, to give up my control,
You alone know, this is really my goal.

It's about where I spend eternity,
Your love came down, that's the reality.

You sent Your son, so I could be with You!
Repent! You call and your lives will be new!

Jesus, I'm done with how I used to be,
Changing my life so that You hold the key.
