GREGORIAN CHANT

Submerge thyself into these timeless chants
Of the spiritually rousing and mentally subduing, voices
Of ancient men robed in grey and brown robes
Singing adorations to the Master Architect
Be transported through the realms of the visible
Lifted out of the flesh and it’s inhibitions
into a new world of the spiritually awakened-

Look beyond thyself
See green mountain pastures,
Pristine ice fields of pure springs
Where purity is just finding expression
Dripping from the ice mass of whitest snow
See the light of diaphanous presences
Holy beings in harmonic pose of infinite peace-

Move and be moved by the gentle rhythm
Of timeless motion in motion
Feel the weariness of harried flesh dissolving
re coagulating and becoming human with the spirit of life
Undergo the dissolution of the verminous impositions
Of restless flitting of flights of fancy
pursuing fading shadows-

Be calmed and gathered with a serenity of purpose
In the rising awareness of holy wholesome chant
Timeless expanse of untempered beauty
Wildness when beauty is not tempered with,
Purity that is virtue attained through devotion,
A humbleness of such plainness
It is a chastity of souls cleansed and perspicuous-

Ancient, without definition or reference,
Only defined within its glorious adoration
Expressions of truest joy
Joy of discovery of the things that have always been
In the new light of serenity
Borne gently on the wings of songs
Songs sung in bass D -

Listen, hear the deep resonating chants of opened minds
Closed in the certainty of their joy
In the discovery of the things that have always been
Open your mind’s eye to the angelic choirs
descending in the roiling scent
Of the incense of the sweet sacrament divine
The changing scenarios of holiness removing the fleshly filth-

Messianic presence descends to purify
In the midst of the purified
Feel the roaring fires
Testing the calibre of raw, undisciplined flesh
Fires, mighty flames, that melt gold and make air of straw
Souls bared in the lightning and thunder
Flash floods of fiery redemption, from the self-

Listen to the voices that reverberate
Preceding His Glorious presence
Be encircled with Air charged
Intensities uncoiled in readiness
Even as sated minds dwell in the peace of His presence
Hot coals rolling and scattering fierce ambers unquenchable
The resonating bass of the totally committed-

Of simplicity in faith so sure
it is the unimpeachable bulwark of innocence
Against which the wisdom of the wise slide
These are the voices of rising truth
Of the disembodied soul
In transitional transformation
In whose wake is the Shekinah glory-

In colours of iridescent glory
When God is glorified
The timeless motions of calibrated accordion in harmony
The reverberating resonance of calm descending
Like the dove of the Holy Spirit
A-rising to descend to proclaim his Kingship,
Voices in praise-

Calm assurance
Of things assured,
always were, will ever be
“Jehovah inhabits the praise of his servants”
In this condensed emotions of great wisdom
Divine expression
In this grandiose rank of choral profusion expressive in phonation-

A sudden elevation of the humble to the apogees
Of gloriousness as the obedient bask in the glory of the Master
Candle lights in the great halls of worship
The stillness merging with the sonorous chorus
Of grace manifest
When voices rise in praise to worship
The One and only-

Galaxies and nebulae
pinpoints of light in a grandeur beyond compare
Infinite gloriousness,
Sing your songs of majestic power beyond compare
Through the black holes into the flaming stars
Of uncharted dimensions in galactic nebulae
“The heavens are His throne and the earth His footstool”-

Reality that denudes fantasy
In this choral renditions
Rising in secluded corners of quiet places
To gain universal presence
The resonating first sound of creation
Caught in the cusp of the exaltation
“Ye are gods. Know ye not, ye are gods?”

In the sanctum sanctorum
Rising with the morning mist
Dawning with the new day
Sun down with the golden rays of the sun in final flourish
Rising stars glittering in the wide horizon
In the quietude of pleasant peace
The Angelus is sung-

Chanting psalms
Bearing aplomb the loftiness of the Divinity
Solemn rendition of utmost glorification
Ave Maria, Christ the Messiah, Glory to God
Hallelujah, Gloria Excel sis
Peace on earth to all men
Glory to God in the highest-
