Do not be afraid of the Storm

     I am reminded about the wind that Jesus got up and rebuke the storm. It is a story of miraculous and His signs and wonders of Jesus. ‘He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, "Quiet! Be still!" Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. He said to his disciples, "Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?"  Mark 4:39-40. I like to look at this verse, and how many times we are to pray and asking God to give us a great authority to rebuke the devil. We know that the devil is a liar and brings a storm of every crisis as much as possible into our Christian life or in our Christian marriage. The storm can be there in many different spirits such as: sickness, accident, problem with the law, family or marriage problem... The storm will head us we need to prepare ourselves into strong spirit of victory.
      Let’s try to walk in the spirit to be a real a intercessor like Jesus did, The Word of God said: He got up and He rebukes the storm. He could just sit down to rebuke the storm. It is representative He got up so it means, He stands up to demolish the enemy, we learn from the powerful Word, we also get up to rebuke any storm of life, it might be a storm of disaster or the storm of illness for members of the family or the storm of lack of financial crisis. We will not bow ourselves under the storm of the devil. We are more than conquering that we claim it.
      Jesus said: "Quiet! Be still!" at the same time, this is outstanding teaching, we learn from the Word in our prayer. We will say: The devil be "Quiet! Be still!" we must say with a loud voice to the Devil, you are not in control, My Jesus is control of my storm, He has my storm with His Hand, He is going to take care of my storm, I will say to my storm is still and I will allow Jesus and by the Lord’s authority saying. "Quiet! Be still!". My God is my peace, and say loud, Peace in my storm, the powerful things is going to happen that the most amazing is the wind and heavy storm obeyed Jesus. What power of the Lord is that even storm will obey Him. I think when He says I will give you my authority when you speak my name every evil spirit and storm of life is coming against you, they must bow themselves before Jesus and all evil spirit must obey us.
     The Word says; after Jesus rebuke the storm, they obeyed Him and then it was completely calm. Why, there is a power higher than the power of nature. This is the Power of Creator and the Power of Almighty God who came to establish His Kingdom on earth forever. The last word of Jesus on this verse said: "Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?" We look at our own faith, check out our faith, are we having small faith or big faith to do what Jesus did on the earth when He was walking here. God helps us not be afraid to use our authority to stand strong not to be afraid of our daily storm will come against us every day.
      Are we lost a little bit of our faith or we are carrying fresh anointing of the Lord for rebuking the storm to obey us. Praise God for overcoming our storm in the wonderful name Jesus, Amen.
