Prophecy

The nest was stirred
but the hornets
couldn’t sting you
because they couldn’t see you
as you did his word -
the word He told you to do

They were mad
because you bumped up
against their work,
you were just sweeping
tried to do some cleaning
as you knocked over
their stolen honey
and now
it is your honey.

So they tried to trip you
as they swarmed around you
And you almost fell
but you sort of fell into a door
and that helped to open it.

You entered
and there was a table
with elders
and they turned around

You fumbled into the room
and dumped over a bucket
of white liquid
You apologized
but they smiled
because it was milk

You tripped into
your land flowing
with milk and honey
It seemed like an accident
but it was destiny
