Sitting around so many women, listening to many stories. Tonight I am trying to help someone or even myself. Christian women wear masks. We pretend everything is great. Admitting that we have less -than-perfect lives would be humiliating. We assume that we are the only ones experiencing problems, so we remain tight-lipped and reserved. Superficial talk dominates our conversations, allowing us to hide from each other what is really... going on. Truth be told, Christians are not immune to worldly pressures. Believers suffer through a lot. Everything is not all right. When will we be honest with one another? We have to remove the mask we wear Sunday, Tuesday or Wed. God's word instructs us to carry each other's burdens not break each other down. Before that can happen, walls that hinder intimacy must be torn down. Learn to be vulnerable. Embrace honesty and affirm one another with unconditional love. There is no room for judgement . We all need the Lord so that masks can come off and burdens can be unloaded. Heartfelt prayer can be a blessing as we carry each other's burdens. We become examples of Christ. Let's take off our masks and allow someone to carry our burdens. "Galatians 6:2 Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ... We as Christians need to do better. Kim White- Donaby
