2 Timothy 4

 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

Modern day clearly shows a high level of resistance to the gospel and in some cases, actual attempts to crush evangelism and the spread of God’s word and ‘wipe-out’ belief in the most high.

Many people are magnetized and attracted more to the esoteric and mysterious ideologies and beliefs, seeking to gain powers, needing to have an advantage over the next person from the spiritual. More and more people are readily drawn in to these than the true God/creator and forming a relationship with Him. Ezekiel 13:20

Man’s ego and fleshly self has formed a hard and solid barrier to prevent God almighty from coming in (Revelations 3:20) to ‘dictate’ to him how to live his life
