A discussion between a preacher, pastor Right and his Pulpit.
Pastor Right took His friends into the large auditorium and confidently, exclaimed I’d preached messages on this pulpit: mighty and powerful messages. I’d witnessed and seen here many souls crying and weeping for their sins and lives changed as a result of messages preached on this pulpit. I’ve enlisted thousands of men and women as members of my church. I have given admonition on this pulpit; that many lives remained in blessed form till this very day.
Pastor Right tilted his head with composed admiration and smile of achievement. “ Blessed the Lord for those wonderful, privileges, messages and I guess my pulpit is just anointed for such wonder. Then he kept a silence and jerked his head in his inclined chair.
A minute almost lapsed when the pastor’s pulpit replied:
“You talk much about the few wonders you accompished with me and those
Messages that transformed lives. I am happy for this, each time you use me rightly. But you never once spoke about the many horrible uses you have put me to neither have you consider it a sin to confess. The best days of your ministration were days of your inexperience, then you leaned on God but now, your pride has treated me roughly in your acclaimed experience”.
You have sacked God in your messages make men, though commonly in your stylish tuned tones make mention of Him. This negligence has made me an abomination to the God I ‘m meant to glorify
On me, you have exercised the buoyancy of your greed, to collect the scarce resource of the church, and convert them to your personal properties. With many scriptural references, you have caused and compelled men and women placed in your care to commence your “heaven-rejected project”
Some times you use me as an opportunity to revenge on men and women that acted to your displeasure, pride and grace. You have used men as an opportunity to rain cruel abuses, which you call correction. You have broken People’s courage, future and hope on. You have disgrace many on me. The converts you have made with me are less than those you have carelessly, willing and callously ignored and sent away from receiving their Lord!
Do you remember, many times you turned me to political campaign podium where you proclaim your men- those that matter in your projects. You have used me to solicit for people’s supports for their political ambition and to patronize their businesses.
Do you remember how many times you have logically concluded that selfishness; greediness and unholy struggle are manifestation of wisdom!
Remember some camouflaged truth you proclaim on me. You have skillfully displaced deception though men may not see your fake sincerity.
You have recently excluded the poor, orphans, widow and helpless from your message consideration. All these abominations you commit on me.
Your well-proclaimed success in ministration has not justified the numbers of opportunities you have on me:
You preach twice a week, apart from various invitation and special programmes. In most cases you drive Holy Spirit away from the ministration as you intend to impress your congregation by your skill of eloquence and rehearsed messages. Pride most time makes you worst after your ministration than when you came to the pulpit.
Many are your criminal acts that you have committed against God on me.
However, I always carry your holy Bible and message notebooks and other preaching accessories, so likewise I shall stand before God your justification or judgment for that you have used me for.
The messages you preached on me will judge your wrong motives, for I shall facilitate these. Those songs and counsel you gave on me are going to be evidences against you and your work, for you lettered me with wrongs, All those shall be my reports for all you used me for when you have opportunities.
“ Each one’s work will becomeclear ; for the day will declare it, because it will be revealed revealed by fire, and the fire will test fire and the fire will the each one’s work of what sort it is. if anyone’s work which he has built on it endures he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned, loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as thorough fire.
