The Blind of This World

Then the disciples came to him and asked, “Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this?” He replied, “Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. Leave them; they are blind guides. If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.” Matthew 15:12-14 NIV

I am sure Jesus knew that what He had said offended the Pharisees. Jesus spoke the truth. The truth is what must be heard. We need to please God in what we do and say, rather than pleasing man.

Our lives on this earth are like a growing plant. The plant can either be an enhancement or a detriment. On the day of judgement, every plant that was not planted by the Heavenly Father (unbelievers) will be uprooted, and cast into the eternal fire.

We now have the opportunity to be good servants for the Lord, advancing the kingdom of God, living and abiding in Christ. Let us make the most of our time working in the fields while the harvest is ripe. Do not allow yourself to be led by the blind of this world.
